Here are the directions for using the Extra Super Shock PACKET:

  • Maintain pH between 7.2-7.4 and recommended chlorine, alkalinity, and calcium levels.
  • Super chlorinate every 14 days in cool temperatures, and every 7 days in warmer temperatures, heavy use, or after rain.
  • If algae develop, shock treats by broadcasting over the pool and cleaning thoroughly after.
  • Add 65 g/ 10,000 L for initial chlorination, and repeat until chlorine level is 1.0 ppm.
  • Before long periods of disuse, add 390g/ 10,000 L and follow manufacturer's directions for winterizing.
  • Store product in a cool, dry, ventilated area and dispose of properly. Contact the manufacturer/provincial agency in case of spills.
